Eldora ran its first kart race this past Sunday 4/6
Hot laps started at 11:30am, racing at 12:30 there was 129 karts there running 13 classes. The whole program was done at 5:20 pm.
We were back on the road headed home by 5:30 pm. And home by 8:00 pm.

I am putting this info out there because Eldora is one of the best organized tracks we have ever been to and they keep the program moving.

We have 2.5 hour drive to get there and you see what time we got home.

For the people planning on going to the double 1/4 point race on June 15 , I am putting this out there to help plan your day if you are traveling any kind of distance.

Hope this helps and would like to see a lot of UAS guys at the track 6/15/14

yes they do not mess around. Larry and his crew are as professional as they come, and their consistant kart counts compared to most other Ohio tracks prove it.

They had 3 inches of rain Thursday , the track had a lot of moisture in it, it was taking rubber , for the most part was smooth and was fast. We were running opens and had no issues with the track or the way Larry was prepping it.

It was a great surface
