flathead crank nut size?

I have a flathead without the long dowl on the end of the crank for the recoil clutch....what is the size and thread pitch of the nut? I dont have the motor here and need to get a nut before I go there....the standard recoil doesnt thread on...thanks

Yep - that's it.
You can also use an extended elec. starter nut if you'd rather. I just use a good hardened nut and use a 15/16" socket on my starter.

The dyno I am going to use tonight wont let tou use electric starters (set up wrong) so we are going to have to put an animal pull start cup on it or something and pull start...wouldnt be a big deal if my motor had a regular crank in it!
