flex hone

If you just need to finish, removing almost no material the 240 grit flex hone works well. If I need to remove more material I start with an 80 grit lisle hone and work my way up to the 240 for low tension rings.

maybe i didnt say it right , i am talking about a ball hone just to finish with, like to get a good crosshatch

Flex hone or ball hone 240grit. Just be aware you will not be removing much material and it follows the shape of the cylinder so it's not going to fix out of round. But it will crosshatch and give you a plateu finish. The rougher grit helps with low tension rings seating. With standard rings you may get by with 320 grit.
