front valance

Any tips/tricks of installing them? Seems like it would be simple but every time I try to put one on, it doesn't look right. If I get the bottom right, the top is wavy and won't lay flat. Thanks for the tips.

I cut the length I need with 3-4" of excess on each end.

Move it across a turbo/space heater to get it nice and hot, so the glue gets sticky and the vinyl becomes pliable. Once hot, begin to apply. You can lay the bottom even, then flatten out the waviness up top when its hot and can stretch.

Place body on smooth level floor, have someone stand inside the nose to hold it, heat up the rubber in the microwave, heat gun, hair dryer, torch etc etc, work from one side to the other. Clamp the 2 ends and trim excess.

Couldn't find it at my Lowes. Had to go to Home Depot.
I just put mine on. No heat. Let it overhang an inch at each wheel opening.
Trimmed to fit. Put two pop rivets in each side at wheel opening.
It only poked out in the center. About 3/8". Filled that opening with black RTV.
