Generac 389/ Honda 390 cylinder head question

I have a generac 389 on a generator with bad cylinder head. Is it possible to use the honda gx390 head? They look basically identical. I found the pushrod length for 389 to be 6.875 and 390 to be 6.53. wondering if I got 390 pushrods if it will work as the cylinder head for knock off Honda is $60 vs $120 generac 389 head. Thanks in advance .

I can only say thats how it works when mixing predator hemi , non hemi and clone heads . Dowel pin sizes also can be different.
