R Raceragain Member Jul 4, 2019 #1 What rpm grinder is recommended when using a flapper disk for tire resurfacing?
Joe28 Member Jul 4, 2019 #2 We use a belt sander, run it across at an angle, then back across at the opposite angle. You can also use an orbital sander/polisher. Harbor Freight sells a 7" pretty reasonable. Hope this helps. Joe

R Raceragain Member Jul 4, 2019 #3 Thanks Joe, normally use a belt sander also, just thought I’d try something different.
Joe28 Member Jul 4, 2019 #4 Try the sander/polisher. I think a grinder is to fast. If you're gonna try something different.
