Gx390 carb throttle linkage hookup?

Hey guys I’m trying to switch out the stock 212 carb for a 390 carb but the part the throttle linkage connects to is backwards on the 390 carb compared to the stock carb, on the stock carb I push the linkage to open the throttle but on the 390 I have to pull it, is there a kit or something like that I have to install to make the 390 work? I know I have to get the gx390 to predator intake adapter etc, thanks.

Get an aftermarket throttle plate. They come with a pivoting throttle arm attached. Be prepared to make a new throttle rod.

Drill out the hole on your throttle arm right under where you throttle cable clevis hooks up and make a new throttle linkage using a metal clothes hanger.

I’ll drill a hole in the throttle arm as fast Eddie said, drilling it above the mounting screw should work great, thanks for the help everyone.
