What kind of stuff can I use from around the house to drop duro? I've heard people using trans fluid or wd 40 but neither one of these really helped. Trying to bring a set of Burris 33s back to life
 
Xylene, trans fluid and toluene mixed 1/3 of each, or can use diesel fuel and trans fluid 50/50, but i would get some actual softener and use it, something proven to work like Track Tac BTGP red or Venom Soak, Krug Green.
