Honda clone charging system

I have a Hy-Spec 200cc 6.5hp electric start, oil alert engine. It does not seem to have a rectifier. When I compare it`s start switch assembly to one from a honda there are many less parts. The Honda has a key switch, circuit breaker, single fuse block, rectifier and something which connects to the oil alert system. The clone only has a key switch and circuit breaker. Shouldn`t there be a rectifier in there for charging the battery.

I also added a second charging coil from a 13hp clone, do I just crimp the 2 charging coil wires together. When I do this I am getting voltage from around 6 at idle to over 20 at wide open throttle.
