Honda Flat Top Piston - 1mm Ring Gap

I will be installing a Honda flat top with 1mm rings. What is the suggested gap on these rings? Do they differ than the suggested clone gaps?

I would use the same ring gap that you use for your clones. Most people have a certain range of ring gap that they are comfortable using or like to use, for me it is no less than .004 but no more than .009

Most quality ring manufacturers recommend .004 gap per inch of bore. Half that (.002) per inch of bore is a good safe place to be to avoid ring bind but get near optimal performance. Weddles range is a good safe area. Good luck.
