Hortsman Clutch Identification

Can anyone give me some information on this clutch? We got it on an LO206 we bought but have never dealt with disc clutches as we have always run clones with shoe clutch rules. Is it worth sending out to be rebuilt and running with the LO206?

Briggs rules for the LO 206 says you must use a drum clutch. No disc clutches. I don't know of a track that allows a disc clutch in the LO 206 class. Legal for an animal.

Greased Lightning for sure. Looks like it'll need a basket and friction discs at least -- probably not worth rebuilding especially if it's not legal for the class you are running.

Most clutch rebuilders get $50 for labor to grind, refinish, assemble, etc. your clutch. Parts would be on top of that -- basket and friction discs and you are already well over $100 total. For less money you can purchase a brand new legal clutch for the class.
