Does anyone have a new or used thumper x starter in good working condition?

I use a bottom mount “2bolt” for a Yx as that’s what the ThumperX is based on. You can get them on eBay etc for under $30.

I believe Andrews are in business but not sure how much ThumperX inventory have and they seem to be pretty busy.

This engine really needed a compression release cam.

I guess I don’t understand what you’re saying about the 2 bolt ya. Can you explain further and attach a link possibly. Please and thanks

There’s two bolt and three bolt options for the starter bodies. Two bolt is bottom mount, three bolt goes on the top.
