jet sizing question?

when i look at jets online i see some measured like 038 or 042 but some are just #50 and #80 for example
are these two different measurements of jets like metric and imperial? and if they are how do i convert to see what size jet i need if i need a 032 and only find #50-#80 jets

thanks for the help

Divide the larger number which is the metric size for the Jets by 25.4 . {example] metric size of jet is #95,that is .95 of a millimeter take .95 divided by 25.4 = .0374. That is a 37.4 size jet basically you are converting millimeters to thousandths of an inch. A .032 jet will be a # 81 metric size. Example .032 X 25.4 =.81 2

where are you looking for jets, the are pretty easy to find at ARC RACING and a few other sites, some of the jets you see that are#80 are for slide style carbs and will not work in a ruixing style clone carb
