Jetting stage 2 blockzilla mikuni

I got me a stage 2 blockzilla with a 33mm mikuni carb with a accelerator pump on it. It was ran in Michigan and is now in Texas. It runs really good but head temp is too high and it has a surge when I let off the gas To go into the corner. Acts like the throttle is getting tapped and it will surge if I hold the throttle halfway. I rejetted main jet from a 185 to a 200 and still seems alittle warm and it still has a surge at half throttle?. Should I keep going higher? i adjusted the screw on the very bottom which I assume adjusts idle jet? I run tillys on all my stuff but the guy insists on leaving the mikuni. If I can't figure it out in gonna put a tilly on it. Thanks

I would say its still to lean .I would probably keep throwing the fuel to it . How does it accelerate from a dead stop now ? Is it a crisp quick start or a slow bogging start ?

It takes off good. Good acceleration no bog. Should I just keep going up till it starts noghinh then jet it back down?

Put a TILLY on it and then you can adjust it on the track!

That's what I'm doing. I can do tillys. This mikuni is junk
