Do any teams these days bring on just a driver with his own money and a desire to race? Example: driver with experience from age 10 to age 30 on dirt oval, drove champ karts and flat karts, previous VDKA wins as well as Maxis National Championship experience ? Looking to get back into it after a few years off.

I’m in NC, Greensboro area. Willing to travel within a reasonable distance. Age 41, I’m 6ft 245 (but actively loosing), working on getting back down to 225, so probably be looking at clone 390 or champ 425. It’s been a while but I’m hearing the champ field sizes in NC aren’t that great these days.

Lots of rides these days are bought/paid for. You just need to find what "fits" best for you.
