lo 206 weight

I am running a 206 class that does not have separate weight clasess yet, I am the heaviest by over
50 pounds to all the other karts, is this hurting me??? Thanks.
 
Jr or sr I would say in a plate class it will hurt in a sr class not so much our. champion in sr was 20 pounds heavy all year. Spec tire class 360 weight and we had world formula mixed in at 420 with gear rule for heavy guys and he still took the 206 to the championship and was able to use the world formula if he wanted to
 
Here is is plain and simple I am 402 the next heaviest kart is 347. No plates I guess it would be a SR class.
 
On a sprint track, we find over 10lbs will make the difference. I agree 55lbs is going to really hamper you.
 
55#'s is a lap traffic sentence. That said, at 402#'s you're not hopeless. We run the Lo206 at 365#'s and the WF was at 400#'s this year, and they were all very close, ran together.
