Looking for a kart for both me and my son

Hello guys. Im looking for a kart for both me and my son(2yrs old). Not sure what kind of kart is good for both me and him. I want it to be fast for me but I can still adjust the speed for my son too. Im very new to the karting world so I dont really know the models etc... What kind of budget should I have? and what kind of kart should I aim for. thx guys.
 
best way to get the info you're looking for, is go to the track/tracks you might want to run and see what karts and engines they are running, and ask questions, karters are usually very friendly and helpful
 
how are you going to fit in the same kart after you get that figured out good luck finding a place that will let a 2 year old race
