Makuni carb clone

I just bought a makuni carburetor clone off Amazon to put on my non hemi predator 212 with 18lb valve springs and a header, when I installed the carb I couldn't get the engine to idle until I put the C-clip on the needle all the way to the bottom notch and it still bogs at full throttle. Do I need to re-jet the carb and if so what size jet do I need to use?

You'll need to jet and tune the carburetor for your engine and altitude. I think most of those come with a # 95 or a # 98 main jet, which would be fine if you're planning to run the 212cc engine on top of Mount Everest but not so good at lower altitudes.
