i cant understand why the kingpin is a half a inch different on the chassis
everthing else is right on point except for the kingpins???????

can anyone help me understand this!!!!!

its called lead/lag. most all new style karts are adj on the rt ft. it determines how fast the rt ft is loaded....in simple terms

that was my next thinking but i didnt think the kart would come factory like that
thank you, does anyone know what kind of kart it may be?

and one more question would you keep the caster camber pill setup or would you convert it to the newer design with the hemi adjustments

If i'm not mistaken it is an early phoenix chassi built by Piedmont karts. from the way the front brackets for the nerf bars go toward the rear andthe kingpin bearings in the spindle not the chassi. these were tight karts and worked especailly well with a big motor likean open. unless you have a jig or someway the locate the plates for thecasterblocks I wouldn't attept changing the front end.I believe Piedmontis closing now but you can still contact the about parts as they are liquidating their stock as they are retiring. Contact Sherry Kenworthy' hope this helps you. call 828-256-6588
