It doesn't take much imagination to figure which is more important, intake porting or exhaust porting.
The air is getting pushed into the engine with 15 psi of pressure and getting pushed out of the engine with whatever compression pressure your engine is making. Not very hard to see that. It surprised me when I first saw a picture of a clone head. The two valves are not that much different. Compare that difference to the valves in a 327 Chevy, the intake valve is quite a bit bigger than the exhaust.
