Did Briggs ever make 5hp blocks with needle bearing for crankshaft on the magneto side?
LOL, the McCulloch needle bearings didn't work very well either! That's something from the 70's. About the time when everybody was figuring out the 5hp cranks didn't get enough oil up to the crank on the flywheel side at high rpm. Loose needles fitting into a machined pocket, likely McCulloch needle bearings.
Edited to add: It didn't work very well.
