What is the purpose of the round brass crank spacer that comes with the the noram ge10t clutch. Is it to protect the crank from excessive torque bending, to keep the key from sliding out, or is it just a spacer. The reason I,m asking is when I run on the kart stand the spacer is grinding against my crank shoulder. Can I just run without it. The motor is a briggs 3.5 FH.
