Thanks, I take it the new PVL ignition doesn't have electronic spark advance either.Yes , you had too use the electric starter . The Lo206 is really the only one where pull start was common.
It does have an intentional spark advance for easier starting. It is irrelevent for on track performance. Embarrassingly, I do not recall how much it advances or at what RPM. Just another advantage of going to a digital coil.So they finally came up with a spark advance to prevent kick back, that's a good thing, a hundred years late , but still a good thing.
