PCV Valve from Car

I wanted to use an automotive PCV valve to vent crank.
For those who have done this, how did you connect PCV to hose coming off NPT barb.
Auto PCV valve is pressed into valve cover through rubber grommet.

Trying to get an idea how to get this to work
