Predator non hemi green plate won't rpm?.

Got a build non hemi green plate that won't rpm under load,thought it was to rich but after rejecting the carb it's no different by listening to it on the track it's just flat and turning only around 3100,any suggestions will be greatly appreciated,new to kart and predator stuff.thanks in advance

I hear this so often; I have an engine that won't run, what's wrong with it? Not much to go by. Do you have a tack/temperature gauge? What jets do you have in it? Where's the timing? What fuel? Have you ever tested the compression pressure or done a leak down test?

3 places I would start would be checking valve lash, check for bent push rod, and timing.
