what would the best qualifying prep be on Burris ss33a on a 1/5th mile flat track prep of choice is goat track gets shiny black groove no dust on Ohio dirt some people use corner speed mixed with goat 50/50

If its just bite you are after I would suggest a mix of SST-5 Purple and Acrysol/Clear. This has proven to work well on the GP tracks around here.

Just wondering, but if it's faster in qualifying, why would you not want to run it all the time? Something else, if your qualifying mix does work, and you've spent all day getting your kart to handle with your regular mix, isn't it possible that the extra grip, (assuming there will be) will throw off your kart's balance?

Qualifying is only for 3-4 laps, so you can use a prep that is more aggressive most of the time. That same agressive prep would probably be too aggressive for a 15-25 lap race though. That is why you see people who race and are fast at the beginning of the race, but then fall back in the field middle way through to the end of the race. Either they get locked down or their tires feather away

Typically we do not tune on the chassis all day. Our goal as dirt racers are to get the chassis balanced, once that happens you tune the kart with tires and stagger. Every once in a while you may change some camber or a washer or two of cross to suit the track but 90% of the time you will leave the go kart alone and change tires, air pressure and stagger.
