The news you have been waiting for folks!! Information on Race 1 of the Velocita Southern Thunder Dirt Tour coming up on January 6th at Callahan Speedway in Callahan, FL! This race will be to honor all the hard work and dedication that David & Lisa Hicken put forth for the karting community not only for Callahan Speedway but in Florida. These two are the most caring and genuine people you will ever meet that loves kart racing and the karters so much. So let's come out on January 6th and show David & Lisa Hicken our appreciation for all they do for the sport.

- Pro Junior classes guaranteed money will alternate each event so like this event it is Pro Junior 1 that is guaranteed then next event it will be Pro Junior 2 or Pro Junior 3 and since there are 3 Pro Junior classes and 6 races in the series this will give each of them opportunity to run for guaranteed money twice during the season.

- The A & B classes are same weight and rules this just gives opportunity to race twice and go for a double crown championship. So, for example Junior 1 "A" and Junior 1 "B" are 265 lbs.
- Also, we are limiting number of classes we run during a day to save time and get everyone home at a reasonable hour. We will have Limited (Non-Points) at some of our events and those will be announced on flyer prior to those events.

- Borderline age drivers can run two Pro Classes except Jr. 3 drivers cannot run both Pro Jr. 3 and Pro Adult Classes.
