On my bicknell chassis i have 3 axle height settings i can position the axle. I run strictly dirt what hole should i set axle in for a starting point. Top. Middle. Or Bottom hole. Ive heard bottom hole is for pavement and top hole is for dirt. And what does moving axle up and down do to the effect

Theres alot to the ? Run it in the lower holes for more ground clearence also more weight transfer. as u raise it to higher holes u change your vcg lessing your vcg and lateral weight transfer. Thats a pretty generic answer but its more the just ride height.

That's opposite. You have more ground clearance on pavement so you can normally run in the top holes which drops the frame closer to the ground. Personally I've always ran the middle holes on both surfaces.
