At snydersville the jr sportsman class (jr2) can run clone green plate with big pipe or clone purple plate with the weenie pipe. The engine of choice was always a blue plate animal over the green plate clone but they recently started allowing purple plate clones with weenie pipes in those classes for jr sportsman flat and champ. The purple plate clones with the weenie pipes are turning faster lap times than the blue plate animal on methanol or a green plate clone with a big pipe.
