Replacing steering shaft and rods????

First time replacing steering shaft and wondering if steering rods should be level or angled? I'm sure this is going to lead to a new setup but need some knowledge. Thanks
 
As close to zero -- OR level as possible -- the more angle you have in them the more stress and binding you have as the angularity becomes more acute as steering is moved lock to lock. Plus it may cause a bit of 'push' on front wheels as they bind.....
