rtc6 or rtc8

We gonna be running a stock class with big pipe and carb work and air filter. ..is there any differences on the 69730 rtc6 or the 69730 rtc8 head motors....I was told yes and no so thats why im asking thanks.

I think the only difference is the spring pocket area the rtc8 are like a clone and the rtc6 has some bosses that may or may not need to be ground depending on springs your using

What he said ^^^ and the RTC-8 comes with stainless stock valves, the RTC-6 does not. If given the choice id take the rtc-8. Ports are same size and valves are same size between the 2 heads

I have seen both the 6 and the 8 with nonmagnetic stainless at the exhaust but not on the intake . Anybody seen a nonmagnetic intake yet ?

just a little fyi all stainless is not non magnetic, obviously if it is it's of a higher quality

Neither of the valves in my rtc-8 are magnetic sneaks. This head came from J Wiley

Ya , no doubt . Jason sucks the magnetism right out of intake valves . LMAO

Just opened package .. 2 new takeoff RTC8's stainless exhaust valve only .. All spring retainers are automotive style split locks too
