Rumor was floating around that Selinsgrove Selinsgrove was not going to offer a points track champion this year. After speaking with the promoter last night, we have concluded that there will be a points track champion at Selinsgrove this year. They are going back in the records to look up the finishes to determine what points are going to be given to whom. With that being said, and the kart count being relatively low, it would be an excellent opportunity for someone to move into a class with the number of events left, and end up finishing in the awards ceremony. I will continue to work towards getting the points posted on the Selinsgrove Raceway Park website for you to follow. Also, we were informed last night there is going to be a large payout for every class Labor Day weekend Friday night. I will stay on top of that with them as well to make sure that gets posted relatively quick. $500 to win is going to several classes. All Junior classes are also Racing for money.
