I jus got a nemesis chassis and i dont know how to set it up for first time out on track i weight 250 and am racing 1/8 high banked oval asphalt so im just woundering how i should set it up to start with

If it's still there, start with the video on Phantoms web site about putting your kart together. The most important thing is to first have your kart put together properly. If you bought used, you probably should start from scratch. It will likely save you a ton of headache's and wondering about thing on down the road.

If you want to know about a specific track, name the track on here and there's probably someone who races there, who will help out on this site.

edit:

Here's the url to the video's I did a Duck on to find: http://www.phantomchassis.com/instructional-videos.html

Search Ltg on here Todd wrote some good books on karts. I searched on here for Ltg and here's the results: http://karting.4cycle.com/search.php?searchid=1925435

I just had another thought which may help.

Do you already have oval or sprint/ left right turning, racing experience. If you do let us know because others may be able to relate and help having come from the same form of racing.

Or maybe it's going to be your first time out and a big super welcome to kart racin to you. Generally speaking if you stay in it for 3 years your going to be hooked for life on karting, even if you move on to other forms of racing.

I also didn't say Higher forms of racing because other forms of racing IMHO are not higher, just a bit different in application then karting. ... :)

Thx my brother raced a lil when i was younger and weve been around racing my whole life i am tearing it down and cleaning and replacing broke parts i will be racing coulee raceway in west salem next year
