Looking for setup help and gearing on a 1998 twister champ kart with a briggs flathead on a 1/6 mile asphalt oval.Also help on setup with it being an older champ with 1 1/8 frame can it be competitive.
We run '02 Twister Sr Champs. When we ran 1/5 mile high banked asphalt we ran:
17/64'ish gear
45-46 nose
53-55left
52-54 cross
1 1/4" stagger front
7/8 - 1 1/8 stagger rear
Yes, you should be able to be fast with the right setup.
