Shrink Picture

How do you shrink your picture so you can use it as your profile pic? I have made it a PNG but still can not get it small enough to use.

Use a photo editor, photoshop, or if you have to use MS paint.

Open the image in paint and resize it to whatever dimesions Bob is allowing for avatars.

I tried MS paint. I was able to get the pic from 976kb to 715kb. Not small enough.

Open it with MS Office Picture Manager if you have it.
Hit 'Edit Pictures' at the top, and then 'Compress Pictures' on the side.
Select from the 'Compress For' list and it will give the estimated size below.

Open paint and go to the resize option, change it from percent to pixel and manually enter the pixel size you want. No need to compress the image size, unless you just can't get the image size below 80x80 or can't get he file size below 24.4kb.

Bob has allowed a maximum of 80X80 pixel or 24.4kb, whichever is smaller.
