how does the stainless steel nerf bars and front bumper look, I would think it looks bad but wouldn't rust as easily as powder coated

What is the idea behind the stainless? Is it just for rust prevention?

eliminates sending parts out for powder coating and having to wait for them to be returned. just weld an install.

I had another manufacturer tell me they stopped using them for the nerf bars because they are much stronger than the steel of the chassis so they were getting more bent chassis instead of the nerf bar bending??

Thats right as Enik Sanders (the dad) told me when you got hit it would also " ring your bell" , I asked him about stainless or chrome moly1

We like the stainless bars for 2014. It is tig welded and stays looking better for longer. As for the strength, it is the same thickness as the steel bars and bends very similar. I like it personally and after a few races you can tell a diffrence in apperance.
