stripped tank thread

i stripped the thread on my tank and was wondering if there was anyway to repair it. its the side that only has one screw

not really any real good ways.
new tank is best

Yep, I've tried inserts of all kinds, none really worked. There's just not enough material there to hold the threads. You'll need a new tank.

Did some playing around and got it fixed after thinking about jb weld and the thought of ruining may carb and tank it hit me i just used the hardner from the jb weld not a lot just enought to put a film on the bolt threads tightened it up till it was about to the spot it loosens up let it sit f or 72 hours hooked it up and it works great no leaks i first tried a sample bolt covered in hardner let it dry for 24 hrs then put it in a cup of e 85 i wouldnt recomend it to any one else but i got a bunch of 5 hps and nowhere to run them but a backyard track so i figured id give it a try
