Will this affect anything? Had them laying around the shop. It is hard to notice and it doesn’t seem damaged where bead sets. If I put this on the rear would it matter? Or should I get new wheel?

They are gonna go on my girlfriends blazer. It isn’t the cool older blazers but it’s still a good car and I think they will look good! I just want to make sure the bead will seal find and stuff.

Clean it with a wire wheel if you can and balance it. Methanol (if you have some laying around) cleans about everything.
Doubt it will affect anything, if it does it will be a good teaching moment on how to change a tire.
Trust me, my wife eats them like candy and no matter how many times I’ve shown her she still calls me. Last time it was a curb pulling into a nail salon… ate the tire strut and control arm bushings. Make sure she’s able to do it sooner than later. Also put a throwaway screwdriver, one of those cheap harbor freight flashlights and a set of gloves in with the jack for her. $5 well spent.

When I was younger I had a girlfriend who's exhaust had a hole the size of Texas in it. Well I decided to replace parts and fix her car for her. 2 weeks later we were no longer together. Moral of the story is unless you are married to her I wouldn't put a dime in a girlfriend's vehicle.

I know what you mean. I am not very deep in them and she paid to get them from me and I paid for them to have tires mounted and I cleaned them up. They look good on her car. Been together almost a year and a half so going strong but I agree i live my highschool life with my friends because I have the rest of my life for girls but I still hang out with her sometimes. Surly not as much as she wants to hang out but I know what you mean.
