Tire compound question?

The Burris 22 is a tire suitable for what type of track, is it a soft compound tire? Would it be good for a calcium clay track? And with Burris does it go from the ss 11, to the ss22? Or is there tires in between or below? Thanks

11's is the softest Burris tire. 22's are the next softest. Then 33,44. & 55 being the hardest. Someone else will have to chime in on calcium clay track.

22 will never hold up on a clay track prepped with calcium unless the person prepping the track does not know what there doing and it still goes dry slick, any decent clay prepped properly with calcium will start 33's and should go to 55's, possibly could stay 33's what size track is it ? and what are lap times for any of the Sr Classes ?

Sorry for the late reply guys, 1/10 mile and I have no clue about lap times lol.

I was hoping it was a 1/8th mile then if you knew lap times I could get a better feel for correct compound, anyway I think you got some good info to better understand.

Good Luck !!
