Tire mounting directions

As cheap as things are made of plastic anymore, I'm not trusting a bucket for mounting my tires (not even with ratchet straps.) Plastic also gets brittle over time and with temperature.
If you (or anyone) needs an adjustable tire mounting band - give us a call and we'd be glad to sell you one priced right. Or hit up your local kart shop to pick one up. Don't hurt yourself or someone else trying to save a couple bucks.

If a man wants to go the cheap route, i went and bought a $40 air pig and then cut it in half and then chopped the end off both pieces so what your left with is just a round piece. Make a cut horizontally on the band so its free and adjustable. And then take a couple scrap pieces of ¼" bar and weld it to it. Then blow you a hole in it and put a piece of all thread through. I wasnt about to give somebody $100 shipped for something i made in 20 min. Plus finish the other side and sold it to a buddy to pay for my half. I can get pictures if anyone is curious and my description is not very good.

And ill add another thing these wheels have those edges that hold the tire onto the bead which can be a real pain to get them broke down off the bead. Take a wheel and tire to the hardware store and find a piece of pvc that fits good around the wheel youching the tire. Put that wheel under a hydralic press and put the pvc over the tire and it will break that tire off the bead without breaking a sweat.
