Tomar TD43 clutch noise

Is anyone using a Tomar TD43 clutch. Installed one on stock animal tried it yesterday seems noises and some chatter. The noise kinda sounds like a grinding, scratchy sound as it engages. I have about .010 end play. It's brand new not sure if it just needs break in any feed back would be appreciated. (Using black springs also have red also for a higher stall speed)

I have 2 of them. They do chatter at times but nothing to worry about. They spin up fast & hook up hard. Many many wins on them.

What he said. They have very hard friction material on the discs, like a hard carbon-metallic brake disc. If you can tolerate the noise they are killer clutches.

Ok, this is my first time using this type of clutch so wanted to see what other users have experienced with this clutch. I'm used to drum / shoe style type clutches. Thanks for feed back.
