On a track that's raced on Friday nights most of the summer 80s to upper 90s,What would you think is a good water schedule ? don't touch it till Thursday night? then rip water and pack? Or sunday or Monday night start working it?

Depends on material, how much moisture it holds or if it purges quickly, also if it's flat or banked that most runs off, we race Fri nights and have good results by start watering fri mornings at 9:30 am and keeping it wet all day, water up till 5:45pm then run it in to race at 7 pm, but my track is banked real hard and it's not all clay, if it's more flat and good clay I would water it thur night good then more on fri then run it in according to proper timing.
Watering Sunday and Mon then letting it set till thur will not accomplish much at all if anything.
