Stock predators flats on turf saver tires. What’s everyone doin to get the most bite out of them?
Anyone cutting them? Any preferred prep? Racin on pretty dusty backyard tracks and arenas.

Why they would put karts on lawn mower tires is beyond me.
 
...yet you still end up cutting and prepping them, and because of the size and grip, you can't just plug in factory set-ups and be close. It really hurts car counts and discourages new people from getting into the sport in my opinion.
I understand the "rationale," (same with treads on flatkarts,) I just don't agree with it.

You wouldnt happen to be racing in Texas?
 
Ive been to a few of the tracks. East Bernard, Belton, Chorpus arena, Rosenberg arena. Word on the street was no prep. The tires would be cut and tested. I put it on half the tire with hopes of them selecting the untreated area!! Other than that, I considered sanding all the tread off down to a "slick" tire to see if I could get any results.
