Hello everyone, well after another long winter here in the North Country things are finally looking up as we get ready for the 23rd Annual Season opener @ TTR, the snow is finally gone & Joe & Kate have been busy getting ready for yet another season of awesome kart racing on the smoooth clay!!
This Saturday April 11th is the scheduled opening day with practice on the agenda for all classes, as of right now a formal decision has not been announced on any delay until the 18th, we definitely will need a lot of cooperation from mother nature to pull it off, as always Joe will do everything possible but if we are not able to do so it will be posted ASAP here on Bob's & the track's Official Facebook page as well, when we are able to conduct practice for the 11th & the 18th the gates will open @ 12NOON with open practice for all classes starting around 2PM until dusk, hope you can join us!!
A couple of major upgrades to the speedway this season will be the installation of an Electronic Scoring System already being worked on as we speak, also, after 22 years of service the old scales at TTR are soon to be retired as we have purchased Digital Scales to be in use in the near future, these upgrades are another example of Joe & Kate wanting to keep TTR alive for years to come & a better place for all racer's!!
Keep your eyes open for updates on the upcoming practice sessions to get the 2015 season off the ground!!
A couple of important dates @ TTR this season: On 7/25 the Northeast King of Karting Money Series returns to the speedway, then 1 week later on 8/1 the 5th Annual Northeast Adirondack Nationals take to the speedway with the Senior Pro Class (360LBS. / Flathead Only) vying for the $2000.00 Winner's share, more information will be posted at a later date, be sure & mark your calendar's racer's, you won't want to miss these 2 huge events @ TTR!!
