Viper vs EGO

I’m looking at both the Viper 3 disk/6 spring and the EGO 3 disk/6 spring clutches. One is 80 dollars cheaper.
Which clutch should I go with? I’m wanting it to hold a 30hp Honda clone motor.

I believe they are the same clutch. Difference in price usually comes down to whether it is straight from the machine shop in its base configuration/setup or has been blueprinted by a clutch builder.

If it's a realistic 30CHP, a 3 disc won't be enough. We burned through 4 disc Bully clutch friction discs (and aftermarket discs) on a 32CHP Honda 390.
Go to a jackshaft and take the abuse off of that clutch. You'll be wiser and wealthier for doing so in the end.
