Vortex Vad 100cc piston and ring

VAD? What is that exactly? I'm somewhat familiar with Vortex motors, but never heard of that model. Is it aircooled? Reed? Rotary or PP
 
Ah a JICA. Not sure where in the US, but I would say Martijn Koene in Europe would likely have something. I didnt work with the PP stuff a lot so I'm not sure if a KPV piston would work with mods or not.

Very good engine. Once I was gonna buy one from a guy that in spain who later became an F1 test driver and he convinced me to buy a P51 instead. He told me the engine was very good but Vortex parts were more expensive. I guess Vertex still has pistons for them in Europe but might not be listed in the US catalogue. By the way, I'll be on my way to Europe for summer break in a month or so.
