What Chain Guard for Sprint Racing?

Hi All,

I puchased a used sprint kart that has a "custom" piece of steel for the chain guard that requires the seat to be mounted further to the left than I have seen others. I have read that the ARC guard is wide and it tough to fit without moving the seat over to the left.

What chain guard is everyone using for sprint racing? Is there a guard that is a little narrower than the ARC guard?

Depending on the clutch size, I've taken a jig saw and cut about 3/4" off the edge of the guard. Still covered everything and gave me enough. Barely, but enough

That's what I use on my small clones. You might need some button head socket head screws to clear the clutch, standard bolts hit my clutch on my motor.
