I like sealed bearings, the more sealing the better, and then I spray them with LPS2. You'll be surprised at how free rolling they will be. A good twist on the wheel when the tires are mounted and the axle will spin for minutes. I've always felt that was plenty good enough for me. Quality bearings cost a little more, but in most cases are worth it.
Oh, LPS 2 is a penetrating lube, you don't need to remove the seals. You can buy it at MSN. Many bearing houses have it.
