Anyone know of a chemical lab for oil testing

You never put the flame IN the oil. They did the procedure wrong if they put the flame IN the oil.

This is what I was about to say, too many track techs will put the flame directly into or on the oil when doing the flame test instead of getting it up to temp. Any oil will flame up when you put a flame to it in most of the engines we use, especially the clones because they run so rich that fuel ends up in the oil. Changing it several times a night helps with that but there will still be some amount of fuel in the crankcase at the end of the night when that final oil change is done or drained. Some tracks need to learn the PROPER way to do the flame test, otherwise racers are just getting cheated out of wins they earned legitimately. Just my opinion
