Beginners,,,,,,know what you're buying

Can anybody recommend a cheap tach thats accurate. I see lots of good mycrons, but need something cheaper just to record RPM on a clone? Just something to keep the motor from blowing up for now. Thanks

Fred, look up TinyTach. Maybe ebay or Amazon. That'll do what you are wanting. Don't know if it'll keep a clone from blowing up though. ;)
There are Mychron 3 plentiful out there that are great gauges. Mychron 4 for just a little more. Now that the Mychron 5 is out and is slowly being accepted by the racers, the price of good used gauges is dropping and dropping.
